Project Coordinator

Job Description

Design & Build are partnering with a longstanding client to assist in the growth of their Canberra construction team.

We are looking for experienced Project Coordinators to join the construction team's on two major projects. This is a great opportunity to join a national business who offer fantastic career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and budgetingCoordinate efforts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective project deliveryEnsure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and relevant regulationsMaintain up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, contracts, and change ordersTrack progress, update milestones, and proactively address any issues to keep projects on schedule

About you:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field2-3 years of post-graduate experience in project coordination or management within the construction sectorProven experience delivering large-scale projects Strong organisational and time management capabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCapacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamProficiency with construction project management tools and softwareSound understanding of construction contracts and regulatory requirements
